from Munich:

Take the A8 autobahn towards Salzburg and then, after crossing the border, continue on the A10 in the direction of Villach. Exit at the Ennstal interchange and follow the B320 towards Liezen/Schladming. From Trautenfels, continue on the B145 (Salzkammergut Strasse) to Bad Mitterndorf. Access to the Tauplitzalm is via the Tauplitzalm Alpenstrasse, about 10 km long and subject to a toll; open year-round. Distance: approx. 260 km, drive time about 3.5 hours.


from Vienna:

Take the A2 autobahn towards Salzburg/Villach, then at the St. Michael interchange continue in the direction of Salzburg. Exit at Liezen, then follow the B320 to Trautenfels and continue on the B145 to Bad Mitterndorf. Distance: approx. 280 km, drive time about 3 hours 20 minutes.


from Graz:

Take the A9 autobahn towards Salzburg, exit at Liezen, then continue as above via Trautenfels and Bad Mitterndorf to the Tauplitzalm. Distance: approx. 160 km, drive time about 2 hours.


Notes:

The autobahns/motorways in Austria require a toll sticker, and reflective safety vests must be carried in the vehicle. Toll stickers are available for purchase at gas stations; additional toll charges may apply. Toll fee for the Tauplitzalm Alpenstrasse on arrival: €16 per car. Parking fee at the Tauplitzalm: €6.50 per night.

Munich Airport is about 300 kilometers, Salzburg Airport about 120 kilometers, Graz Airport about 170 kilometers, and Vienna Airport about 290 kilometers from your chosen holiday destination at the Tauplitzalm.

Your room will be available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Please plan to arrive by 8:00 p.m. if possible – in winter, our skidoo shuttle will take you in comfort from the parking area at the end of the Tauplitzalm Alpenstrasse directly to your room. For later arrivals, we charge €30 for the skidoo transfer. (Dinner is served from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.)

On the day of your departure, we kindly ask that you vacate your room by 10:00 a.m.

Toll for the Tauplitzalm Alpenstrasse: €16 per car upon arrival. Parking fee at the Tauplitzalm: €6.50 per night. All prices in euros, including VAT.
